The WENS Travel Expanse theme allows you to add, edit, and customize the footer to include copyright information, social media links, and other elements. Follow these steps:
1. Adding the Footer #
- Go to the Site Editor:
- Navigate to Appearance → Editor in the WordPress Dashboard.
- Insert a Footer Pattern:
- Click the “+” sign in the top bar to open the Block Inserter.
- Scroll down to find “Footer” under Patterns, or use the search bar to locate it.
- Drag and drop the footer pattern into your page or template.
2. Editing the Footer Content #
- Modify Copyright Information:
- Click on the copyright text and update the details as needed.
- Add/Edit Social Links:
- Select the Social Links block, then:
- Click the “+” icon to add new social media links.
- Enter the respective URLs for each link.
3. Advanced Customization Options #
- Click the Settings (⚙) button in the top right corner.
- Adjust the Style Options:
- Choose from options like Default, Logos Only, Pill Shape, or Circle Shape.
- Modify Link Settings.
- Change Color Settings:
- Adjust Icon Color and Icon Background Color as desired.
4. Save Your Changes #
- Once you are finished, click “Save” to apply the changes.
