Installation of WP Easy FAQs is easy and simple. After Installation, WP Easy FAQs adds a new menu with question icon () in the WordPress Dashboard which leads to a simple interface where you can manage and organize all your FAQs. To get started you can easily install the plugin through one of the following methods explained below.
- Download the plugin (.zip file)
- In your Admin, go to menu Plugins > Add
- Select the tab “Upload”
- Upload the .zip file you just downloaded
- Activate the plugin
- A new menu will appear in your Admin
- Once you buy the plugin, you will get zip folder.
- Unzip the folder and Upload `wp-easy-faqs` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory
- Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
- A new menu will appear in your Admin panel
WP Easy FAQs is simple but powerful plugin to create and display beautiful FAQs. With concise menu, clean interface creating and updating unlimited custom FAQs becomes simple and less time-consuming. The settings and options provided within the plugin itself provides a lot of flexibility and options to its users.
After Installation and activation of the plugin, users will be greeted with a new FAQs menu in the admin dashboard. Clicking on the menu will open the main interface of the plugin. A description of all settings and configurations in available in the plugin is further discussed in detail below.
Users can now hover on the FAQs icon and choose add new to add new FAQ.
Users will now be redirected to main interface of the plugin where users can create and configure FAQ.
FAQ Questions tab is the first tab in the FAQ configuration panel. FAQ Questions tab lets users add questions in the FAQ list. The “Add New Question” button in this section can be used to add questions for new FAQ list.
Users can add unlimited number of question with the “Add New Question” button in this section. All added questions is displayed in a sortable list format for users to review, rearrange and remove easily.
Note : After adding the desired list of questions in the this sections users must Publish / Update before they can add answers to the respective questions in the answers tab.
Answers tab is the second tab in the FAQ Configurations. After adding desired number of questions in the FAQ Questions tab and publishing / updating, users can see all the questions listed in the respective order of the questions in the question tab in this section.
Users can then click on each question on the list individually to slide open the default WordPress editor to enter their desired answers.
Availability of default WordPress editor as the input field for answer lets users add multiple types of contents within the answers. The answer supports all types of contents that can be used in WordPress posts and pages.
The settings tab in the FAQ Configurations contains all settings and options that can be toggled and customized to control display layouts , styles and behavior of the FAQ list while it is displayed in the front-end of the website.
- General Options : Contains general settings to enable / disable FAQ title and numbered index display in the FAQ list.
- Layout Options : Contains settings for changing layout / display types and styles for the FAQ list.
- Color Options : Contains color settings for different sections of FAQ list displayed to the front-end.

The Usage tab in the FAQ Configuration contains display methods for the FAQ list that user has created. WP Easy FAQs can be easily and conveniently displayed to the front-end of the website with Shortcode available in this section.
FAQs can be displayed in website with the following two methods in the usage section :
- Display via Shortcode : Contains the simple shortcode that can be copied and used to display FAQ list anywhere within posts and pages in the website.
- Display via PHP Function : Contains the PHP function for the shortcode implementation in the WordPress theme template.
With the methods available in the plugin, users can easily display FAQ list with customized settings and options anywhere in their website.
Creating your FAQ with WP Easy FAQs is a simple and easy process. This section guides through the general process of creating and using an amazing FAQs.
First step to create your FAQ with WP Easy FAQs is to click on “Add New” option under the FAQs menu in the Dashboard. After that, users will be redirected to the new FAQ creation page that contains FAQ title field and the FAQ configurations.
A title for the FAQ can be created in the “Enter Title” field in this screen and after that users can continue to the FAQ configurations section to create and configure the FAQ list.
FAQ Questions tab is the first tab in the FAQ configuration panel. FAQ Questions tab lets users add questions in the FAQ list. The “Add New Question” button in this section can be used to add questions for new FAQ list.

- Sortable Handle : The hamburger icon to act as handle for dragging and sorting questions to place them in the desired order.
- Question Input : This section, when clicked activates input field where users can type in question for the FAQ list. When done, adding new question will set this space to display the entered question.
- Delete Icon : Shows up on hover. This icon is used to delete the question field along with the question data.
- Publish Notice : This section shows publish /update notice after clicking on “Add New Question” button. Users are only able to add answers after they publish / update question list.
After adding questions in this section users can move on to add answers after publishing the questions.
Answers tab generates a list of questions according to the questions set and saved in the questions tab. In this tab users can input answers contents for each individual questions.
Users can access the answer input section by simply clicking on the questions they want to add answer to. WP Easy FAQs provides the default WP Editor for entering contents for each question. This allows users to input all types of contents supported by the WP Editor itself in the answer.
- Question List : Displays question in the saved order set in the questions tab. Users can access the answer input field by clicking over the question list.
- Answer Input Field : WP Editor used to take answer content input.
The settings tab in the FAQ Configurations contains all settings and options that can be toggled and customized to control display layouts , styles and behavior of the FAQ list while it is displayed in the front-end of the website.

Contains general settings to enable / disable FAQ title and numbered index display in the FAQ list.
- Display FAQ Title : Checkbox option to enable / disable the FAQ title display on top of FAQ list in the front-end.
- Display FAQ Index : Checkbox option to enable / disable the numbered index in front of the questions in the FAQ list.
Contains settings for changing layout / display types and styles for the FAQ list.
- FAQ Display Type : Select option to choose display type for accordion in the front-end. Available options are :
- Accordion : Displays FAQ list (question / answer) in a smooth accordion layout. The accordion type can be further modified with different colors and styles with options available below.
- Plain List : Displays FAQ list in simple and clean list of question and answer. The layout is basic with minimal settings and is ideal for simple use.
- Question list Style : Select option to choose question list style in accordion for display in front-end. This option is only available when accordion is selected in FAQ Display.Options available under this setting are :
- Compact : Accordion display style that displays question list in compact form. Only a thin border is used to separate questions in accordion of this style.
- Spaced : Accordion display style that displays question list in spaced form. a line break is used between questions to separate them in accordion of this style.
- Accordion Open Type : Select option to choose the type of accordion open style for your selected accordion type. Available options under this menu are :
- Single Open : This option lets accordion items to open single item at a time. When this option is selected only one accordion item is opened at a time. Clicking another item will push close open tab and takes its place.
- Multiple Open : This option lets multiple accordion items to open at the same time. When this option is selected multiple accordion item can be opened at the same time.
- Accordion Toggle icon Type : Radio input type to select type of toggle button for the accordion display. This option is also only available when “Accordion” is selected under FAQ list display type. Under this option five different exciting toggle icons are available to furthur customize the layout of the FAQ accordion.

- FAQ List Title Color : Color select option to select color for FAQ title text. The option shows only when “Display FAQ Title” is checked.
- Question Text Color : Color select option to select color for FAQ question text. Users can easily set color for question text with this setting field.
- Question Text Color on Hover : Color select option to select color for FAQ question text on hover. Users can easily set color for question text while on hover with this setting field. This option is only available while “Accordion” is selected under FAQ list display type.
- Answer Text Color : Color select option to select color for FAQ answer text. Users can easily set color for answer text with this setting field.
- Question Tab Background Color : Color select option to select color for FAQ question text tab color. Users can easily set color for question tab with this setting field. This option is only available while “Accordion” is selected under FAQ list display type.
- Question Tab Hover Color : Color select option to select color for FAQ question text tab color on hover. Users can easily set color for question tab on hover with this setting field. This option is also only available while “Accordion” is selected under FAQ list display type.
- Active Question Tab Color : Color select option to select color for FAQ question text tab color while tab is active. Users can easily set color for question tab while active with this setting field. This option is also only available when “Accordion” is selected under FAQ list display type.

- Share Link : Displayed when hovered on the question in the FAQ list. When clicked, a prompt is displayed that contains link to the specific question. The link can be used by simply copying and can be used later to get to that specific question.
- Edit Link : Also displayed on hover only if a user is logged in and has post edit privileges. When clicked, the link takes user to back-end of the site to the edit section of that specific question. Ideal for editing the FAQ data after reviewing from the front-end.
