WP Author Profile Box is an easy to use plugin that adds an author box at the end of your posts, showing the title for the author box, author name ,author description and also display the author social icons. 2. In your Admin, go to menu Plugins > Add.
3. Select the tab “Upload”.
4. Upload the .zip file you just downloaded.

You can find Basic Settings in Dashboard > Users > Author Settings > Basic Settings.

Activate the button to allow author box for all the user otherwise you need select the specific user.

If the button is not activated then you need to select the specific user to allow the author box.

Activate the button to allow author box for all post.

If not activated then you need to select the post for which you are going to allow the author box.

If your theme or another plugin already loading Font Awesome, you can disable loading by activating the button.

You can choose the layout of the author box as Right , Left , Center , Tab , Box as per your requirement.

If the left template is chosen.

Output:
Then the author description will be on the right side and author profile picture will be in the left side.

If the center template is chosen.

Output:
Then the author description will be on the center of the box and author profile picture will also be in the center but it will be located above the description.

If the tab template is chosen.

Output:
Then the author description will be in the right side ,author profile picture will be in the left side and the total layout is give below.

If the box template is chosen.

You can find Appearance Settings in Dashboard > Users > Author Settings > Appearance.

You can change the title name of the author box. Here in the screen shot, title of the author box is ‘About the author! ‘.

You can set the margin top for the box as per the requirement.

Similarly you can set the margin botton for the box as per your requirement.

If you would like to customize the author box on your theme,you can also do it via the plugin provided custom CSS option. The Custom CSS settings is packed with straight forward settings to provide custom CSS editing.

You can find other Settings in Dashboard > Users > Author Settings > Other Settings.

Activate the button to auto insert the author box.

Also you can deactivate the box to insert the box manually.If you want to manually insert the Author Box in your template file , you can use the following code snippet where you would want the author box to show.

You can activate the botton to hide the author box if you do not give any description.

Also you can simply keep the description box even if you do not enter the description.

You can activate the button to hide the social icon.

You can deactivate the button to show the social icon.

You can activate the button to open the link of social icon in a new tab .

Also you can deactivate the button to simply open the link of social icon in the same page.

You can activate the button to add no follow attribute on social icons.

You can find uninstall (delete) option after you deactivate the plugin from the Plugins page.

Keep in mind that when you delete wp-author-profile-box you will also delete all of its settings. If you only deactivate the plugin, its settings will remain and will not need to be entered again if plugin is re-activated.

WP Author Profile Box like any other products on Theme Palace has the license validity for only one website. You can use the purchased plugin in multiple websites. Except you won’t be getting any update notifications, supports and plugin updates on them. Also the license expires after one year although you will be able to use the product but you will not be getting any updates and support on it again.
