# Theme Installation

There are two approaches to installing the theme. You can either install it easily via the WordPress admin dashboard or Upload and install the theme through the FTP client.

## From your admin dashboard

- Log in to the WordPress [Administration Panels](https://codex.wordpress.org/Administration_Panels).
- Select the [Appearance](https://codex.wordpress.org/Administration_Panels#Appearance_-_Change_the_Look_of_your_Blog) panel, then [Themes](https://codex.wordpress.org/Administration_Panels#Themes).
- Select **Add New**.
- Type** “WENS Food Palette ”** in **Search themes…** box
- It will show **WENS Food Palette**and click on it and Install. Once installation is complete you can activate it.

## Upload and install theme through FTP client

You can use an FTP client like [FileZilla](https://filezilla-project.org/) to connect your web server.

1. Download **wensfoodpalette.zip** to your Desktop.
2. Unzip **wensfoodpalette.zip** to your Desktop.
3. Using an FTP client to access your host web server, go to /wp-content/themes/ and upload your new copy of the **WENS Food Palette ** Theme.
4. Now, log into the WordPress Dashboard with your login details.
5. Select the **Appearance** panel, then **Themes**.
6. You will see the theme “**WENS Food Palette **” in the list.
7. Then click the **Activate** button.
8. Now the theme will be activated and go through the following options to set up the theme step-wise.
