# Theme Installation

After you download the Travel Log theme from wordpress.org, you can choose either of the approaches given below to install your theme.

## From your admin dashboard 

1. Download a [Travel Log](https://wordpress.org/themes/travel-log/)theme from WordPress theme directory.
2. Log in to the WordPress Administration Panels.
3. Select the Appearance panel, then Themes.
4. Select **Add New**.
5. Then select **Upload Theme.**
6. Click **Browse** Locate **travel-log.zip** Theme on your computer.
7. Select **travel-log.zip** and click **Install Now.**

## Upload and install theme through FTP client

You can use FTP client like [FileZilla](https://filezilla-project.org/) to connect your web server.

1. Download the[Travel log](https://wordpress.org/themes/travel-log/) theme from WordPress theme directory.
2. Unzip **travel-log.zip** to your Desktop.
3. Using an FTP client to access your host web server, go to **/wp-content/themes/** and upload your new copy of the Travel Log Pro Theme.
4. Now, log into the WordPress Dashboard with your login details.
5. Select the **Appearance** panel, then **Themes**.
6. You will see the theme in the list.
7. Then click **Activate** button.
8. Now the theme will be activated and go through the following options to set up the theme step-wise.
