# How to update the Travel Ocean theme?

You can update the theme following two methods.

## Updating Theme via Dashboard

1. Go to your dashboard **Appearance > Themes** and click on the notification link to update the theme.
2. Go to your **Dashboard > Updates** and update the theme if an update is available.

## Updating Theme Using FTP

To update Theme through FTP, follow these basic steps:

1. Download the latest version of Travel Ocean from the WordPress theme directory
2. Unzip travel-ocean.zip to your Desktop
3. Using an FTP client to access your host web server, go to **/wp-content/themes/ **and upload your new copy of Travel Ocean Theme which shall replace the old files.
